The official results became available on 2007-Oct-12 circa 17:00 - more than 4 weeks after the event! - I have offered to provide same-day accurate service, and am looking forward to helping here next year... Some great results tonight! Sue Schatter broke the 21 minute barrier for the first time - the only woman other than professional New Zealander cyclist Meshy Holt to do so thus far! Top man, Michael Nash did his third sub-19 event. Presently, only he and Ray Duggan have OTT 15km result times in the eighteens, and the two of them share the current fastest time of 18:43. Sue is first by a long shot in the OBC women's best-three 15km, best-three 15km age-handicapped and the BAR current rankings. Michael is equally dominant in the male OBC best-three 15km and BAR rankings, but cadet rider Andrew Lattimore leads the best-three age-handicapped award by about .2km/h. We're still awaiting the 2007-Sep-16 40km time trial results before the BAR award can be finalized. In all, 32 of 58 riders improved upon their 2007 OTT 15km best, with another, Giorgio, managing to tie his database best which he set last week.
We look forward to many more 15km participants next year and even faster times after the parkway hardens over the winter!
